Changzhou Foreign Economic Technical & Trading (Group) Corp. (CFETTGC), the first foreign trade group in local, is one of the export-oriented principal enterprises; and reached Top 500 lm/Ex Corporation in China in 1994 and 1995. The backbone of CFETTGC, Changzhou Foreign Economic Technical and Trading Corporation (CFETT), was established in February 1986 and granted the right of foreign trade by the authorities.
With 120 staff members and 3, 500m2business area, the assets of CFETT has exceeded RMB 109 million by the end of 1995. Offering excellent and efficient services, CFETTGC has 10 business departments, 9 subsidiatry companties, and 3 managing departments. Besides, it invested in 14 corporations, and established several business windows abroad.
CFETTGC has a high-quality business staff. More than 92% of these staff members got the college or higher degree and 42 of them had been entitled for foreign trade by Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of China.
CFETTGC already has relationship with 67 foreign countries and regions on the principles: Abiding by contracts and honoring credits; Customer supreme and service first; Mutual benefit and common prosperity; International practice as ways of handing. The value of import and export accumulated to 260 million U.S. Dollars and labor service totaled 3, 206 persons during 1990 and 1994. In 1995 , the annual import and export value amounted to USD 65 million while the export value exceeded USD 40 million. Now CFETTGC play the major role in exporting in local with its capability and promised credit.
To take complementary advantage from producer and to enlarge export capability, CFETTGC has contracted relationship with more than 30 manufacturers, such as Changzhou Lanxiang Machinery Works, Changzhou Radio Material General Factory, Dongfang Garments Factory and Changzhou Plastics Industry Group Company.
After ten years operating, developing and competiting in domestic and abroad markets, CFETTGC became a conglomerate of diversification and multifarious development. Its activities cover import and export trade, labor service, technology import & export, real estate, establishment of joint-venures and overseas windows.
