CEMS is a Chinese-owned company based in Hong Kong with American-based documentation, engineering and program management, established in 2002, to provide access and address the specific needs and additional requirements of manufacturing in China for the smaller volume, higher-mix products of the industrial, instrumentation and medical markets.

We provide access and address the specific needs and additional requirements of manufacturing in China for the smaller volume, higher-mix products of the industrial, instrumentation and medical markets. Services :- CEMS offers global turnkey manufacturing services and Local Program Management to oversee your products entire life cycle -- from prototype to end-of-life. CEMS dedicates a local Program Manager to each of our customers. Local domestic Program Managers coordinate the global supply chain thereby removing the communication barriers of time zones and languages. From the management of inventory and order fulfillment to collaborating on and resolving detailed technical issues, CEMS program managers oversee the manufacturing and associated services of your product in multiple CEMS locations across the globe. CEMS Program Managers are engineers with a background in operations. This allows CEMS to manage your product through the full product life cycle – helping you to work smarter. Our Program Managers analyze all customer product variables and jointly develop a supply chain plan making use of both local domestic and China manufacturing. Our production teams have the depth and the breadth to ensure the precise things happen at the precise time for your program. CEMS Program Management takes every step to assure that your products are built right and provide up to date communication of purchase orders and projects. From product evaluation and document control to order status CEMS uses the latest software’s available. Our documentation software, CheckPoint, from Aegis Industrial Corporation imports your BOM’s and AVL’s automatically, scrubs the data, and then provides immediate feedback of any issues contained in the BOM. CheckPoint’s structure allows management of multilevel indented BOM’s as well as control and archive each level for future recall. The data is then passed into QuoteWin from Polydyne for automatic sourcing and quoting of material through the WEB. CEMS then uses COMS, its internally developed system that provides our customers with up to date information of the data you’re looking for form quotes and quality data to delivery status and inventory. Procurement :- To offer the most cost-competitive solutions, CEMS uses the most powerful quote processing tools available and combined with CEMS Program Managers help cut material and production costs and streamline communication, making a positive impact on your profit margins and corporate growth. CEMS uses innovation and the newest technologies to automate and optimize the sourcing of direct material and intelligently manage the entire sourcing project via the Internet, including pre-negotiation, RFQ processing, spend analysis, commodity management, supplier strategy, business analytics and purchase order generation. By utilizing this state-of-the-art technology, the time CEMS saves in quoting and procuring material results in product saving for you. CEMS automated purchasing processes are executed locally and are tightly linked with our global commodity management processes, supplier networks and hub programs. Our procurement staff compiles a complete pre-production BOM evaluation detailing minimum order quantities (MOQ), standard pack quantities (SPQ), component lead times, and cost estimates ensuring your product release and costs meet time-to-market demands. In addition, CEMS works with the supply base to inform you of material that is obsolete or going end of life (EOL) and works toward a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) to increase the China content and reduce your product cost. Logistics :- CEMS Global Supply Chain : As more and more companies shift their manufacturing to cost-competitive China, they look to CEMS to handle the complex logistics in unfamiliar regions. Our strong relationship with UPS, our primary logistics partner, creates a dedicated global network of logistics and warehousing services. UPS services provide CEMS with Pick and Pack solutions for raw materials and finished goods, with both Regional Distribution Centers (allowing for next day delivery if required for planned or last minute orders) and Field Stocking Locations (providing critical regions with same day delivery as well as standard distribution) in North America, Europe, and China. This allows the flexibility that CEMS needs to move material where the product is going to be built and our customers the ability to ship product where it needs to go. Our advanced inventory and logistics system gives CEMS the ability to schedule and track deliveries and monitor inventories. As a customer, this information can be part of your data that is posted on COMS, our Web-based Customer Order Management System. Our collaborative turnkey process seamlessly manages your product's complete lifecycle - from quoting and engineering review through delivery to after-market services. CEMS after-market services are performed domestically, eliminating the need to return products to China.
