NEW CONCEPTS & SYSTEMS offers Digital Coatmeters. The instrument is designed on principle of eddy current according to DIN 50984, 50982 and ISO 2360. It measures thickness of Non - conductive coating on conducting base.
It is useful for measurement of coating of Phosphates, Paint, Varnishes, Teflon, Enamel, Glass, Rubber, FRP etc. on MS, SS, Brass, Aluminium etc. and Anodising of Aluminum.
The Instrument is quite user freindly. Calibration is easy with ZERO and CAL knobs. Testfoils and Testpiece are supplied with instrument which help the user to set the instrument to the utmost accuracy.
The instrument has spring loaded probe for constant force. The probe has V groove for cylindrical parts.
The masuring range of the instrument is 0-1200 Micron with resolution of 1 Micron throughout the range. The reading is displayed on LCD display. The instrument works on 9 Volts dry battery and it has a separate indicator for Battery check. Auto OFF facility is incorporated to extend the Battery life.
